Research interests
I am interested in demographic changes and genetic divergence of natural populations. I am working on the population genetics of the common vole (Microtus arvalis) using genomic methods. Microtus arvalis has several evolutionary lineages across the European continent and was also introduced to offshore islands, which forms a unique system for studying various evolutionary processes such as population divergence, expansion and selection.
